BAIE-ST-PAUL and ST-IRÉNÉE, CHARLEVOIX
Located on the Route du Fleuve, atop hills west of St-Irénée, the site of artist Juan Cristobal offers you one of the most magnificent panoramic views of the St-Lawrence River.
His art gallery welcomes you with a remarkable exhibition of more than one undred twenty paintings; originals and gyclees printed on canvas. Mainly oil and a few pastels. You will find artworks depicting Charlevoix countryside, landscapes, scenes of life, gardens and flowers, still life, scenes from the city of Quebec, etc.
His figurative work, inspired by classical realism and romanticism, is at times suggested by the attraction of light and the colours of impressionists.
You will be met by the artist himself who regularly works in front of the audience at his workshop during the day.
The opening hours of the Art Gallery and Summer Workshop are seasonal. From June 1st to October 15th, every day between 10 A.M. and 5 P.M., and from October 16th to mai 30th occasionally during the weekends, or personnally on demand.
